Porthleven

Cornish Art Seascape Painting

The sleepy harbour of Porthleven is bathed in morning sunlight.

Predannack

Almost as far south as you can go, a winter’s day view from Predannack Cliffs near Mullion Cove.

Summer Sandbar

Cornish Art Seascape Painting

Sparkling sea and jewel like surf breaking over the low tide sand banks.

Summer Blue

Cornish artists

Close to Hoe Point at the western end of Praa Sands beach.  A docile wave makes its way towards the sandy shore.

Shorebreak

Cornish Art Seascape Painting

Shorebreak on the shelving beach of Loe Bar, near the historic harbour of Porthleven.

Breaking Wave

Cornish Art Seascape Painting

A stone’s throw from the artist’s home, a breaking wave, resisted by an offshore breeze, surges towards the sandy shore.

Kennack Sands

Cornish Art Seascape Painting

Morning tide at Kennack Bay.  Looking in an easterly direction towards Treleaver Cliffs and Black Head.  A narrow spit, just visible, divides the beach in two. It was upon these rocks in a gale that a French steamer Maurice Bernard met her demise.  All is peaceful now.
