In the last three years, the young Andrew Giddens as emerged from the throng of talented artists in Cornwall to become a hugely popular painter of waves, bays and beaches; who captures and transmits both the energy and majesty of the seaside. This small collection stems from Andrew’s recent visit to the coast of south west Wales around a place called Trefin. From “Green Wave” (below), to “Secret Beach” and “Ancient Cove”, not forgetting the tranquil harbour scene above, Andrew Giddens surely captures and conveys the essential qualities that draw us to the British coast.
